Tugby C of E Primary School Welcomes Exciting Addition: A Brand New Mobile Classroom
Tugby C of E Primary School is proud to announce a significant enhancement to its educational facilities with the installation of a brand-new mobile classroom. This exciting addition is set to transform the learning experience for pupils and teachers alike.
The local school based in the rural village of Tugby, Leicestershire, has received funding to have a new mobile classroom installed. The funding was secured by YMD Boon Ltd from the Condition Improvement Fund and will see the unit installed by March 2024. Plans have already started to take place.
The decision to invest in a new mobile classroom reflects Tugby C of E Primary School's commitment to providing a dynamic and versatile learning environment. The work will start to take place during the October half-term so there will be minimal disruption to pupils learning, and is set to be completed by April 2024.
The mobile classroom will be equipped with the latest technology, including interactive whiteboards, audio-visual systems, and high-speed internet connectivity, enabling teachers to deliver engaging and immersive lessons. It will also provide a flexible space for various activities, allowing for a more dynamic and adaptive curriculum.
Head of School, Mr Gavin Skye expressed his enthusiasm about the new addition, saying, "We are thrilled that the new building is yet another endorsement of Tugby as a school that is growing for the future. The new facilities will further modernise the school and give a fantastic environment in which children will be able to flourish and succeed.’
The installation of the mobile classroom aligns with Tugby C of E Primary School's broader vision of ensuring children experience a broad and balanced curriculum, which enables them to thrive academically, socially, creatively, and physically.
The school invites parents, pupils, and the local community to join them in celebrating this exciting development. An official unveiling and open house event will be scheduled to showcase the mobile classroom's features and benefits.
