Leicester Cathedral
There is a strong tradition of playing musical instruments and singing at Tugby School. A love of music is nurtured from an early age and each week this is developed through inspirational music teaching. In addition, some pupils commit to becoming choristers and they join the Leicester Cathedral Choir. Here, the children receive further musical training and have the opportunity of singing at major occasions such as the recent Re-interment of King Richard III, in front of HM Queen Elizabeth II. As a result, there is now a strong musical link between Tugby school and Leicester Cathedral.
