At Tugby we take an active part in school sport in both our local area and within school. Every year a group of year 5/6 children work as Sport leaders, through a leadership programme, run by Rutland School Sport Partnership. These sport leaders work to encourage both activity and a passion for sport in school by organising playtime activities; helping to run a daily wake and shake and by supporting the Sport Partnership during intersport events. The children are encouraged to continue their work as they transition to secondary school becoming sport leaders at UCC or Catmose College.
