‘I have come that they may have life,
and have it to the full.' John 10:10

Enabling children to flourish and succeed

School Council

We have a School Council that meets every fortnight at lunchtime. The School Council represents the views of all our pupils and is an ideal way for pupils to be more involved in the way that the school is run. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community. A councillor is elected from each year group who has the responsibility to express their own views and the viewpoints of other pupils in their class.

A member of staff and a school governor is also present at the School Council meetings to ensure that ideas and suggestions from the children, can be taken forward. The Greenhouse, Birthday board and Blue Bell Spinney are projects that started off as ideas from the School Council.
