Provision is made in for all KS2 pupils to have swimming lessons as part of their PE Curriculum. These lessons ensure that children can swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres using a range of strokes effectively and perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations. Swimming instruction takes place at Uppingham School Sports Centre.
