Pupils from Tugby School transfer to Uppingham Community College (UCC) at the end of Year 6. UCC is an outstanding specialist technology college that holds the International Schools award, Artsmark Gold and Investors in People accreditation.

Tugby school is one of the Uppingham Family of Schools, and as such, it receives extended services and support from Uppingham Community College.

An outstanding UCC PE teacher comes to Tugby each week to support our PE and Sports curriculum, UCC staff bring Y9 students to give special presentations, Y10 students come to Tugby in the summer for work experience and our Y6 Prefects go to UCC for sporting fixtures, Music Festival and Saturday events such as the coding Hackathon.

We have a close working partnership with UCC to develop new initiatives and to ensure a smooth transition of Year 6 Prefects to Year 7. Tugby School follows the term times and holidays of Uppingham Community College.

We were privileged to have the Principal of UCC as our Guest of Honour at our first Prizegiving event.
