‘I have come that they may have life,
and have it to the full.' John 10:10

Enabling children to flourish and succeed

Forgiveness

Right from the start of school life, children are taught about the importance of forgiving others.

In the playground, a child may do something wrong and is asked to say sorry to the person they have offended. The person is given the opportunity to forgive. By accepting an apology, the child learns firsthand about the power of forgiveness to heal hurts, to strengthen relationships and to allow fresh starts.

In adulthood, we are the same, we make mistakes and need to be forgiven.

During assembly each week, the whole school will say the Lord's Prayer together which reminds us all of the need to be forgiven for our wrong-doings, and the need to forgive others for what they have done to us.
