Collective Worship

There is an act of Collective Worship each day at Tugby C of E Primary School at 3pm in the afternoon. The format for the act of worship is flexible to allow for creativity and spiritual freedom, but in general, there is: a welcome, hymn, story and prayer. There is a pattern to the weekly gatherings which reflects the contribution and suggestions from pupil voice as to who is leading the collective worship.

Monday: Classes on a cyclical basis

Tuesday: Headteacher

Wednesday: Character education on a class termly basis

Thursday: Celebration

Friday: Church team

As part of their personal development, Year 6 Prefects are responsible for choosing, setting up and leading the hymns, using the Clevertouch to support the collective worship and to support church events such as Communion, Remembrance and the Easter Service.
